Causes of Restless Legs Syndrome

This test usually involves measuring brain activity using an electroencephalogram (EEG), heart rate, and muscle tone through electromyography (EMG) or recordings from skin electrodes during a night’s rest.
- Electroneuromyography is a diagnostic test that associates the study of a patient’s nervous system with electrodiagnostic medicine. This procedure is based on electromyography, which detects muscle potentials and studies them in relation to their origin from nerve cells.
